Or, maybe they were thinking along these lines: Hey, he's got a famous dad, so no need to "vet" him. Plus, he's YOUNG and we sure do want some NEW, YOUNG readers and bloggers.

If they're only considering people under 30, then Jim Robinson and a bunch of other conservatives would be out of the race for this gig. Too bad. Young voices are good, but sometimes older people actually know something, too!
