Well known by whom?==

I don't know him personally and I don't know none who does. Ramzaj is just nickname under which some officer or group of russian informants published very thouraugh intels on progress of Iraq war 2003.

The whole RUnet the russian segment of Internet red his infos. Ramzaj published during whole Iraq war 2003. His infoes was widely discussed in that time.

Since that his infos got translated on English then it was wide-spred in the world Internet. You just see Google and count hits. http://www.google.ru/search?hl=en&q=ramzaj+Iraq&btnG=Google+Search

"Well known by whom?"
All I will say. Is I remember reading postings on this issue some time back. And I remember reading blog sites where people discussed the invasion, and how Saddam was deceived, buy Russian advice. For instance it helped determine his decision on not torching the northern oil fields. His input from the Russians was that the US would halt short of invading Baghdad, and in this Saddam figured he would retain power and make a come back. In which case he needed the oil fields.
