My money is on either he was physically abusive to wife or sexually molesting daughter(s). Thoughts?

Thoughts?

My thought is that she'll fershur claim one of those scenarios, whether true or not.

Well, of course he was!

Especially now since he cannot refute the charges.

My first thought also, when I saw the news, was she caught him with the church secretary or choir director (male or female) or he was abusing her or the kids.

Happens a lot.

At any rate, I feel so sorry for those poor kids.

Why is it that most people tend to think that the husband must have deserved it?

Anything is possible, but just yesterday I was chatting with a coworker about a friend of mine who's wife for the fifth time left the house and demanded a protection order and alleged child abuse. Today they made up and are back together.

Why he keeps letting her back in the house I don't know, but she does suffer from severe depression. Nevertheless, it not for me to judge and my coworker commented that if you drive down any residential street there are dozens of couples with varying degrees of challenges in their lives.

This case of course ended very tragically.

Yeah, blame the husband/father right away, forget the fact that some women are just psycho.

Maybe she just wanted out of the whole "religious" life.

I'm not jumping to any conclusions. There is no excuse. It's tragic. It struck me that this is a very small church to support a minister, wife with three children.

It is difficult to be a minister's wife and raise children. Everybody expects everything to be perfect; your life is under continual scrutiny.

I'm thinking that that life was too confining for her, maybe it will turn out to be something else, maybe we will never know.

Obviously something is/was very wrong. She can't have been thinking too clearly that she could get away. Glad that the children were not harmed, but they will always have scars now.

Very sad all around.

Yes, I have a thought. I'm wondering why you think a dead person is the cause of his own death without knowing any facts? Seriously, a man is dead and you immediately suspect HIM as being the bad guy? I guess you're conditioned to think a woman just can't be evil, eh?

That is highly unfair for ANY human being to have to be labeled before a trial.Try to control your thoughts ....not every human being is a bad molester .

If it was sexually molesting the daughters, she is excused.

I think you may be right...
I was raised in this affiliation and it is VERY conservative. Leads to people having double-lives. You can't admit you have problems or feelings that should be dealt with properly so you end up leading a double life. I have met people I work with that grew up in this affiliation and many were molested by their relatives who were elders, ministers, etc. Sad, but, this may be the case.

I'll bet he that he used to leave the toilet seat up, or

He always left his underware on the floor, or

He put the toilet paper on the roller thing wrong, or

all three.
