I am taking Spanish now. It is not pronounced "Jesus" in Spanish the way we speak it in English.

Okay, but this happened in Sweden. And don't you think the name "Jesus" in Swedish would sound exactly the same as the Savior Jesus' name in Swedish would sound?

The Spanish say Jesus... "Hey-Zeus" for both the name and the Savior. Just like when people say Jesus in English, it could be the name, or the Savior. Same problem, all around.

I knew a guy named Juan that pronounced his name with a hard J. I pronounced it the right way and he told me that was not the way his family pronounced it, they pronounce it Jah-wan. I wanted to ask him, 'Just how stupid is your family?'

The point is for anyone that speaks Spanish, and there are a lot of them, they might be confused as described in the article.
