The supplement I take has ~ 1500 mg of Omega-3 and 500mg of Omega-6. A 3:1 ratio. Are you suggesting this could be harmful even in the 3:1 ratio?

Are you suggesting this could be harmful even in the 3:1 ratio?A big reason to take omega-3s is to counteract the imbalance of 3s to 6s in our diet so it doesn't make much sense to take 6s with your 3s. You almost certainly getting plenty of 6s in your diet (probably too much) - you don't need any more.
