It must be pretty hard to get Fire Insurance on an automobile in France.

I'm surprised they have any cars left to burn there.

Driving in France appears to be a bad idea.

I know there were a lot of rioters who were native-born French, but now that they are masked, how many are from the Arab immigrant population?

Trade union leaders, who joined students and school pupils in opposing a new law that would make it easier to hire and fire young workers

Gasp! You mean workers can be fired?!

Welcome to the rest of the world's reality France.

Hey, Jacques....what was that you were saying about the U.S. in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina again?

I can't quite remember...

The interior minister, Nicolas Sarkozy, had warned that "hooligans" would be punished severely.

Just as soon as they're done burning and pillaging. Well, maybe after tea.

Yeah, it looked ugly. Mobs of "yutes" beating and robbing folks.

" I went to a protest and was robbed " , the hot selling souvenir t-shirt.

How can you have workers' rights if you don't want to work?

France-showing the rest of the world how not to run a country since 1789.

Or a torn-up shirt with blood stains that reads: "My parents took me to a protest and all I got was this lousy mugging."

I scratched Paris from my "places to go" list a long time ago.

"Trouble was also reported in suburbs around Paris and in Marseilles, the scene of one of the biggest of yesterday's marches..."

Those locations are suspect. I wonder how many marchers are of another ethnic persuasion...?

What a pity.
