"Bush should have never signed this bill, "
Bush is the problem - he allowed evil to prosper by signing this. He continues to allow our borders to be wide open. Spending is through the roof.
Bush is the problem not McCain - he has a bully pulpit to champion conservative principles and yet does very little to confront our social ills.
I dont want to hear about his so called attempts at stopping evil - as they say walk the walk.
We were destined to go to war with Iraq - democrat or repulican we would of went. So I dont buy the he combating terror crap while he lets terrorists and criminals freely walk into America.
I've said this before, like others you have the idea apparently that President Bush has a big "S" for Superman on his underwear.
You also have the wrong idea just what powers the POTUS has, which in comparison to the House and Senate are very little as they can overrule everything he tries to do if they so wish, which they have done since January 2001.
At first, I thought, ok, it's just a little old law, won't affect me. Then, prescription drugs. And Republicans are supposed to want smaller government? And now, they're coming after the only free and unencumbered, unregulated freedom left? The internet is our wild west. LEAVE IT ALONE! Can't we as citizens have ONE, just ONE measly thing in our lives that isn't regulated? And people laugh at me when I tell them we live in a fascist society. I used to think, let's work within the system, use the republican party to advance conservatism. Until we elect representatives at our state level who are conservative, we get the government we voted for. So, as much as you want to blame bush, (and I agree, he had a veto pen), the root cause is us at the state level, electing these people who aspire to the legislative, executive or judicial branches of government. States are kind of like the minor leagues. It's extremely frustrating right now. And, it's only going to get worse if we don't stop it. /rant
