Gavin was due to graduate in May and had already been awarded an Army ROTC commission. He was to get his duty assignment in June, and had been attending helicopter aviation school. Gavin and his mother were at our Freep last Friday.
Mother Cindy-True-Supporter is an ardent troop-support presence at the weekly FReeps at Walter Reed on Fridays and the weekly anti-war demonstrations in Olney, Maryland on Saturdays. Her behind-the-scenes acts of kindness to wounded service members are extraordinarily generous. She is a former Army nurse and her husband, Mike, an Army doctor. Gavin has turned out to support the Walter Reed FReep as well, and was with us just last Friday.
Please pray for Gavin and the family.
Anything special happen last night? Maybe I have not looked in the right place for any comments.
Thank you for all you do. This report was great.
The Freep yesterday noon was a real drain on your time and energy, but "there you were"!
Please stay well and warm(?) now that spring is officially here.
See you soon.....
