Another funky little item worth shelf space is a cookbook from ~1953 called "Hummingbirds and Radishes", very gourmet for its day. I use it frequently.

LOL, I was on a cooking forum once - I now try to avoid those - that would quote a "Joy of Cooking" recipe and page number, then everyone would have to scramble to figure out "which edition". I had back to the first one, but always ended up being the "looker-upper" - not fun!
