"A note about Laura Ingraham's comments: I've known her a long time. I'll, in fact, give you the caveat that I've known her socially. But that hotel balcony crack was unforgivable. It was unforgivable to the memory of David Bloom, it was unforgivable in consideration of Bob Woodruff and Doug Vogt, it was unforgivable in the light of what happened to Michael Kelly and what happened to Michael Weiskopf. It was unforgivable with Jill Carroll still a hostage in Iraq. And it's not only unforgivable of her, it was desperate, and it was stupid." With Blame the Media Backlash? as his new on-screen footer, Olbermann moved to his first guest:
"As promised, a calmer voice, no doubt, in the person of Newsweek's White House correspondent Richard Wolffe....It's one thing to question if the media's being representative in its reporting from Iraq, but with this frankly paranoid tone set by the administration and enacted by people like Laura Ingraham, is that what we're left with about Iraq, defending the actions conducted in this nation's name with desperation and stupidity?"

Ol'Beerman is a dumbass.
I couldn't believe he actually brought out that troll Helen Thomas after her actions during Bush's P.C. to defend the media
Looks like Laura hit a nerve. Nice work.
Another chapter in Olbermann's pathetic attempt to become the liberal answer to O'Reilly.
All twelve of the people who watch his show agree with him.
As the old saying goes, "Strike a nerve and you've struck near the truth."
Laura mentioned David Bloom and the reporting he did in Iraq.
We know calling someone a Nazi during an argument demolishes any integrity and cogent position. It has a name-sake although I cannot remember the phrase.
What does one call an argument whereby McCarthy is invoked, especially since this dummy apparently doesn't know what or who McCarthy was.
Sorry punk, but ever since Dan Rather attacked Richard Nixon during a press conference in Houston in '72 it has been long overdue.
The press has gotten way above themselves in the last 30 or 40 years and need to relearn their place.
So9
Typical tool for the MSM. The SECOND they are criticized, they deflect the criticism and decry it as "blaming the media." They decry it as if the MSM is above all, divine and enlightened. What is their evidence of this? Why, Christ Matthews, talks to Andrea Mitchell who talks to David Gregory who talks to (insert Media Wonk here) which conversation is commented on by Keith Foureyes who agrees and then is indignant that anyone would ever criticize the media.
Bad news MSM, its over. Even worse, its been over for a while. Too bad you haven't gotten it yet. But hey, its great entertainment for us.
Laura hit one out of the park with her response about reporting from hotel balconies.
I had the chance to meet and talk to David Bloom's wife. That guy was a patriot and wanted to be out on the front lines with the troops.
He would have said the same thing. Olberman can't even drive a car...that's why he moved to NY.
Godwin's Law.
The McCarthy variant could be Coulter's Law.
Interesting to note how much they chanted for the "right to speak" and "challenged anyone over 30" yet when the tables are turned on them, they invent words like "insensitivity, tolerance, Hate Speech" and now "unforgiving."
She wasn't referring to the gallant few -- especially not to the pro-American Michael Kelly -- you pompous untalented nitwit.
A good example of the logical fallacy of guilt by association.
