I listen to Spanish talk radio a lot. Nobody is talking about fitting in, assimilating, or learning English. Quite the opposite. It's all about their power increasing, and the Latinization of their virtual states-within-states.

They could care less about becoming Americans, other than demanding all of the rights and benefits of American citizenship. It's about taking over. You have to listen to Spanish-language media to get this.

Actually, I figured it out a long time ago just by looking at their actions. Anyone that is waving a Mexican flag while insisting that they get to stay in the U.S. only wants to take from us, not become a part of us. And the number of 3rd and 4th generation hispanics here that aren't taught English at home and are more interested in what is happening in Mexico than here speaks loud and clear to me.
