One term limit-- on Presidents-- is enshrined in the Constitution. Some, like myself, think that this provides legal cover for lesser (state and local, f'r'instance) term limit laws on the lower ranks.
And some, like myself, think that the "expertise" gained in a 12-or-more-year term in the Legislature is a net loss to the People.
Didn't make it clear...I italicized the "policy expertise", that is the b.s. part...smart folks do not become career D.C. folks...
