I am back, if that will do. At my church, we spread the Gospel here at home AND throughout the world. Surely, you can't use Mark 16:15 as some type of prohibition on spreading the Gospel here at home, especially in light of Acts 1:8 ". . . you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
I didnt't address my post 2u. Your attempt to read a "prohibition on spreading the Gospel here at home" into Mark 16:15 is mean spirited at best. Most concede that the early churchs' persecution(Stephen, etc.) covered in early Acts caused the disciples out into the world and resulted in the rapid growth of Christianity. This whole post is comparing apples to oranges.
