The original thread was posted during debates concerning campaign finance reform and McCain authoring a bill that would reduce 1st amendment rights. It was and is an important issue.
However, as I said before, it's not like people don't understand this. They are saying that they do understand it and that many of them feel that the totality of issues is such that the choice between the presidential candidates is clear.
The choice sure is clear - I didn’t notice when it was posted, but it’s sure over the top in my mind. No one is perfect, but McCain/Palin need to be in the White House, period.
