I am perfectly calm and not fearmongering at all. I believe that the country can survive another Clinton. I don't believe that we can survive a RINO like McCain.

I don't 'have to' hold my nose and vote for anyone. I won't vote for a Rino.

You tell me to work hard for my candidate, and I will, but when I have done so in the past -- and is already happening here -- there are those (usual suspects) advocating the lowest common denominator and calling me other others extremists and unappeasables and one percenters.

They claim to be conservatives, but they are CINOs and do not have the courage of their convictions IF they have those convictions at all. Many of your cohorts here can't stand conservatives and only want our votes and our money to elect their candidates. As I said in my last post to that other poster, nominate a conservative or lose the election. I / We are not ceding any more ground within the GOP. Our next step is out the door.

You better work hard to get a conservative on top. I'll do my part, but you can't win on principle when all you do is preach compromise.

I guess we disagree pretty heartily on your second sentence. Good luck to you on your endeavour. I hope you get a conservative candidate you can trust, but I won't go the third party route. Oh and I sincerely doubt that McCain will be the Republican candidate in 08.
