Please revive that damn list, OK?!
Juan McCain gets NOTHING from mainstream conservatives, not on this forum at least. Some of us have not drunken the Kool-Aid. Not so fast. Nope. Not soooooo fast, Republican National Committee.

I only have three more freeps at WR left. If it rains, I’ll need a ride there and back.

Ridiculous Hyperbole. You wrote this in 2006, but it looks like FR is still alive and well. So I ask, Really? What is it about now, during the RNC that makes this comentary so pressing while McCain is busy running up against Obama?
I’m not voting for McCain because he’s the least of two evils. I’m voting McCain because I think he will be among our best Presidents.
He has proven himself as a good American. And, even if his McCain Fiengold fiasco was entirely off base, anyone can see what he was trying to accomplish was a good thing. As a country, big dollars in “soft money” was all too able to speak louder than the voting public. The details of the bill, I don’t fully know, but the object was clear, and it certainly wasn’t to drive FR of the web.

Buford, you gonna have a bumper sticker for me?The Palin bumper sticker arrived in the mail today.
It will be used as soon as there is concrete evidence that she does not tie the line for Juan on amnesty, bailouts, cap-and-trade, and Big Government Socialism, more generally.

I passed out quite a few of the new Palin stickers I had made. But I have not put one on my car yet either.
I know you realize as veep she's going to have a limited role in controlling the message. It will be nuanced at best. My tolerance level is a bit higher than yours.

I think that in a McCain administration, she will be largely symbolic and more or less powerless, which is why I can not support a McCain/Palin ticket in 2008.
Thank God my bumper sticker is for 2012.

The Juan McCain Truth File. "I have great respect for Al Gore." John McCain, October 2, 2008 FR Keywords: mccaintruthfile, mcqueeg, mcbama Please tag all relevant threads with the aforementioned keywords. This can be a very high-volume ping list at times. To join the ping list: FReepmail rabscuttle385 with the subject line add mccaintruthfile. (Stop getting pings by sending the subject line drop mccaintruthfile.) Republican Commissars Warning: By joining this ping list, you may be subjected to the delusional rants and ramblings of McCainiacs, of "moderate" Republicans, of pragmatic conservatives resigned to voting for the lesser of two Democrats, and of countless GOP shills who simply want to meet a new overlord. |
