Thanks for showing up at Olney and Walter Reed.
We may have even met at Walter Reed.
Now let's make sure we re elect Ehrlich and have Steele take Sarbanes seat.
The SOB doesn't get my vote either.
Right and even though that's antedotal information... I can look up and down my street here in the deep South and tell you that 15 households of my immediate neighbors are already committed to voting for and working for McCain.
I've seen about a half dozen or so that advocate support of Republicans traditionally and expect everyone else to do so.
Is there another viable choice?
Even Jim Robinson has said he is going to support the GOP this year and in 2008.
Exactly. Most of us are far more firmly rooted into our beliefs, and pay more attention to all the nuances and intricacies of the election cycle than the larger segment of the population that remain firmly undecided until election day.
The undecideds and independents make up their mind by following the largest group of people. They're not leaders. They're gutless losers and get puffed up by following the bigger herd.
They all think I'm crazy and don't know what the hell I'm talking about when I tell them all the terrible things McCain has done for this country politically.
Rock on, Mr. Robinson. Rock on.
Thanks for the ping, writer.
Right on all counts.
People like him. They admire him.
Things we hate that he's voted for or championed are often times POPULAR with others.
Jim Robinson stated here, in the post he initiated, McCain will not have his vote. Whether the members in the House and Senate receive his support to represent us in those legislative bodies in their election campaigns has nothing at all to do with the fact he has just declared that McCain can count himself a vote short in '08 in his presidential bid. Which is the topic of the thread. Whether we should support maintaining Republican Majorities in the House and Senate is another topic.
John McCain will never get the GOP nomination, so why should anybody "register" their support or non-support of him, other than concerning THIS specific issue?
Why should Robinson register his lack of support for McCain's run for the W.H? Because certain people in Washington tend to forget who votes in these elections. They tend to believe they can intimidate and make the base fall in line with their choice. The size and passion of this thread alone proves they have yet to successfully do so and should give their lurkers pause I suspect.
I've never voted Democrat in my life, and I'm not about to start, even if it's just to "make things interesting" or to get my jollies up in an uproar.
Hillary is neither entitled to the scepter of power, nor should she be rewarded with such inept stupidity from voters like you.
Free Dominion servers are already in the US.
The Canadian Liberals would have shut them down years ago otherwise.
Oh, I see where you're coming from. Never mind.
Why should you then be the most prolific poster in this thread with your opposition to Jim Robinson and those who agree with him in NOT voting for McCain? If he's never going to get the nomination, they why are you wasting your time here and annoying everyone?
Even Jim Robinson has said he is going to support the GOP this year and in 2008.
Again, I call your attention to the post that Jim Robinson made to start this very thread into which you've posted so much nonsense:
"John McCain, you treasonous bastard..."Your reading and comprehension skills are the pits. You need to get that checked out."You and your cohorts are attempting to subvert the Constitution of the United States of America, the very same constitution that you swore an oath to defend, so help you God! That makes you a domestic enemy of that great document and a traitor to your country. Yes, and Benedict Arnold was a war hero before he turned traitor too. "
"How dare you even think that you are qualified to sit in the oval office! Ronald Reagan's office! President? Hah! You miserable excuse for a two-bit political hack, you're not even qualified to shine Ronald Reagan's boots. If you do run, I'm afraid you're gonna be at least one vote short. It'll be a cold day in hell before a traitor like you ever receives my vote. And that's a campaign promise you can take to the bank. "
Starting with such things like CFR. The way it's portrayed in the media, most people get the impression it's to level the political playing field because it's "patently unfair the Republicans raise far more money than the Democrats do! wah-wah-wah-boo-hoo! *sniffle*".
Wow, McCain is being unceremoniously taken to the woodshed today. I didn't think this thread would reach 1000 posts until the weekend...lol.
Jim--It's not good to hold back.
See ya later......................
