Unseen Al Gore Campaign Video (See it here---NOT a Joke)
Google Video ^

This VIDEO was taken with a handheld camera by Spike Jonze who followed Al Gore around for a day with the camera in 2000. Not seen on TV before and just recently released online. The DUmmies think that if this video had been televised during the 2000 campaign, he would have won the election. I don't agree. The references he made in the video about not being "stiff" would have made himself even more of a laughingstock.

One interesting note. Al Gore pulled out a stack of videotapes. This was recorded in 2000. If he did the same today, it would be DVDs. One of the many changes in the past 6 years.

Why did he dress as John Kerry for a Halloween party?

Politics aside, I thought that video was neat. I'd much rather see something like that than a political ad.

I've seen stanoffish guys like Algore before. Sometimes they try to act like a good ol' boy but they can never quite pull off the ACT. It just isn't natural for them.

Didn't watch the whole thing but the early reference to the gas masks was interesting. I thought the world was safer under Clinton/Gore and terrorists never wanted to target us? (Sarcasm)

Gas mask reference made me think of 24 and CTU. I was looking for Jack Bauer in that video.

I think the quotes you cited are why this video was buried until now.

You by any chance see tonight's repeat of an old Who wants to be a Millionaire show on the Game Show Network? They asked the question 'The character from what movie was based on Al Gore?' The answer was Love Story. Apparently the author of the book and Al were roommates at Harvard. I thought it was just something Al made up, like so many other things. Still though I don't see much similarity between Al and the Oliver character in the book/movie.

The DUmmies are in a state of DESPAIR over this video. They believe that if it were widely broadcast in 2000, Al Gore would have been elected president. I don't agree. I think this video would have opened up Gore to mockery with "Stiff" jokes.

The author of Love Story claims that is BS.

I doubt Tipper could get any red-blooded American male stiff.
His ramblin' on about smaller, more fuel efficient cars as they're pulling up to AF2 in their limo was a nice touch too. Morons.

Couldn't watch it all, I can only tolerate Albert for so long. But I still maintain that Kareena Gore is a really pretty gal.
...I wonder if Albert would allow himself to be filmed swimming and belly sliding into shore in his present physical state?
