Dear All,
I am sorry to bother you all again but something has come up that has me obviously scare witless. My daughter Anastasia is having what the peditrician thinks are seizures. She goes limp and her eyes roll back in her head. These last only a minute or two but she is not eating well either. There is a remote possiblity that this is related to a new med she is taking for her reflux. Of course we are taking her off this now. I am sorry to bother you all again but this is the thrid major medical problem since Christmas with her. Thank you all and God Bless YOU.

It sounds like a Petit Mal siezure. These seizures begin in childhood, and the patient often outgrows the condition.
Take the child to the hospital for a second opinion, by someone other than the orignal pediatrician.

I'm sorry for your situation, my step daughter was suffering from night seizures for years until I happened to catch her in the middle of one 2 years ago. It was/is very frightening to witness. She now takes meds which regulate them, she's only had 2 or 3 seizures since, and none in the last 8 months.
May God send his blessings to your family and help you to get her through this.

9 months ago i was given medication which disabled me badly.

Have you researched the ketogenic diet? I guess it works. There's a dad of an epileptic boy who has started a foundation to inform parents of epileptics about the diet. It's also beneficial for other conditions as well.
