The difference between "probable cause" and "entrapment", that's what.

Yeah, the only problem with entrapment, is that you have to be able to prove that the police did it, all the while the weight and resources of the government are working to send you away to federal pound-you-in-the-#$$ prison. And to top it all off, even if you do prove entrapment, it isn't like the cop will ever face any music for it. He'll get a few weeks of paid vacation most likely.

Actually, they would have had to manufacture quite a bit of evidence in the first place. If they are willing to go that far, there's nothing you can do about it and this ruling has no impact on that since this would only affect the timing of the presentation (before or after the "crime") of the falsified evidence.
