WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush said Tuesday that American forces will remain in Iraq for years and it will be up to a future president to decide when to bring them all home. But defying critics and plunging polls, he declared, "I'm optimistic we'll succeed. If not, I'd pull our troops out."

Dead on! That's why I like C-Span, though I know it's fallen out of favor among some here and elsewhere. At least they provide raw data. Raw data is the key I know they have alot of liberals that call in .. but I like C-span
Because I can hear and see first hand a lot of things that are being said .. especially in the Senate and House

They are severeYou can't say it's severe when they keep doing it. It's obviously not severe enough. That, or they are sever enough, but they have some operation expenses in reserve that allow them to continue.

Christopher Hitchens was on Hewitt's show today and made a very interesting comment. He said he had talked to a very prominent news person at one of the major networks (wouldn't say who it was). The person expressed concern that all the negative reporting on Iraq could affect the outcome of the war. Duh. Took the genius four years to figure out what any Freeper has known all along, that they lust for a self-fulfilling prophesy?
