Since Dems started being named as recipients of his largess, Jack Abramhoff has fallen completely off the radar.

What is happening, or has happened with the scandals and the "culture of corruption?"

The problem here is that Ole Jack was simply one single player of several thousand in DC. Once it got out that Demo's got payoffs...the whole briberly establishment quickly warned all the politicans to quiet down or the media and public would catch onto the whole mess...thus demanding a clean-up. And if you are a Republican or Democrat...you are absolutely dependent on someone for cash. Jack's entire case will quietly be settled and he will spend almost no time in prison by the time this is settled. My bet is that within 24 months...he will be right back to doing his game and paying off senators of both parties.
