Also.............. Last night on the NBC Nightly Snooze (which I rarely watch) had this story covered in a 4-5 minute piece by the Chris Matthews wanna-be Andrea Mitchell who took the same take line as described above (while trying to appear to be 'fair & balanced', of course).
