Your average sole-proprietor in America is a perfect example. Those who benefit their communities or society thrive. Those who do not are either jailed or go bankrupt in fairly short order.

We are all sole proprietors, it's just that most people don't realize it.

We are sole proprietors over our expertise. Some of us sell that expertise by the hour, some by the year. Some at home and some in cubicles.

If you don't look at yourself as a sole proprietor, even if you work in a mega-giant-super-sized corporation, then you're done for...
