It's funny that you should mention that.

I was doing a search of Wikipedia the other day for information about that lunatic Hal Turner.

Anyway, I happened upon one of these websites frequented by racists and anti-Semites, which claimed that the skinhead movement was the first organized political faction to make those puerile, offensive comparisons between President Bush and lower order primates, and that it was racist skinheads who came up with the poster that had a photograph of President Bush-supposedly making simian-like gesticulations-juxtaposed against images of chimpanzees.

Usually I would automatically dismiss any boasts made by these nimrods-who take credit for everything from the defeat of Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante to hurricane Katrina-but this claim sounded plausible, especially considering the fascination these idiots have with denigrating humanity, and the affinity most of them have towards socialism.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew more about the provenance of that particular anti-Bush slur?

All of these deranged, anti-Bush, pseudo-Marxist moonbats...

Are they appropriating the semiotics and iconography of neo-Nazi racists?

Curious.

National Socialism and Marxism are but two heads of the same beast: Statism.

though as competing parasites they are inimical to each other, it is not at all unusual for them to be indistinguishable in objectives, tactics, and language

I think that some of it came from that nut Mark Perkel (sp?). He was a crackerjack programmer at one time (MarksMenu), but his leftist leanings sent him over the edge.
