Ad-hominems of the type you have resorted to are the refuge of a loser.

You're never going to change their minds. They are frightened little people who do not know how to use logic. They are guided by emotions and knee jerk reactions. True Conservatives see this for what it is, business, global business of which the United States is a part.

What these mental midgets don't understand is that other countries besides those in the ME are watching this. The US, for example, runs terminals in ports around the world. What if those countries decided to cut the US off like we have over the ports deal? American countries and hence the US economy would feel the pain. American debt is bought by the billions by foreigners, and it's a good thing considering the amount of free spending that goes on in D.C.. These people cannot see beyond their back yards and are following the likes of Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton down a dark path.

I always like to ask anyone concerning this uproar one simple question. Who do you trust more in matters of national security and the war on terror....Schumer/Clinton or G.W. Bush?

That wasn't an ad hominem.

An ad hominem would be "you shouldn't listen to sinkspur because he's an idiot."

When you tell someone, "you're an idiot," it's could be an insult. Or it could even be true.
