Why are you treating this as if it's some sort of marital relationship?

We are not wed to the United Arab Emirates-even though we might have an alliance with them-and we should not overlook national security imperatives simply in order to assuage their concerns.

This is why the House of Saud exercises such an extensive-and almost wholly malign-influence over United States foreign and domestic policy.

Diplomacy over security.

Well, that has to change.

This is being treated by me the same as any eruption of RAT led ignorance which damages the US interests.

There were NO national security implications in the Port deal except for the voluntary efforts promised by the UAE to INCREASE security. Hence torpedoing that deal will HURT National Security. And it was blown up based ENTIRELY on lies.

This deal does not involve an American company and as such is outside of our control.

You are also clueless wrt to the influence of the Saudis as well I see. Typical.
