Keep parroting this if you like. It doesn't make it true. The US Dept of Treasury has taken action a number of entities located within the UAE post-9/11, and subsequent to the start of WoT. They were all but completely uncooperative before the attack, and are marginally better now. There are doubtless still plenty of UAE citizens who either belong to, or financially back Al Qaeda (who we are presently at war with).
UAE has provided as much help with the war on terror as ANY ally and maybe more. The bases and harbors are invaluable and make our mission in Iraq and Afganistan infinitely easier. Their assistance with intelligence is also stellar.
Attacks on this ally are the same as attacks upon the military efforts.
