Should we have a national referendum or just let the old coots at Free Republic decide?
It's proven to be nothing more than a rubber stamp.
Do you honestly believe that there has only been one deal in the history of this intra-governmental process that had potentially negative national security implications?
That CFIUS has been correct in every single one of those instances?
Why are you investing such blind faith in the government?
Shouldn't we be asking for some accountability?
Should we have a national referendum or just let the old coots at Free Republic decide?"
LOL!
I resemble that remark
I'm sure CFIUS is on their best-behavior ATM. Their actions should be subject to congressional review. I think this recent deal demonstrated an effective model for future oversight.
