The most likely conclusion from this outrageous episode is that the Austrian does not oppose Prop 82.

That would not surprise me at all. His allies are supporting it (Riordan, Hellman, et al) and it is consistent with his other views (ala Prop 49). Not replacing Reiner all this time certainly makes it appear that he wants him right where he is. With yesterday's articles disclosing that some of Arnold's appointees (Kim Belshe, for one) may have played a role in the scheme, it certainly makes sense.

When will all conservative Republicans finally admit that, although the lessor of two evils by contemporary standards, The Austrian is, indeed, the enemy? The enemy within!

I believe conservative Republicans knew that long ago.
