I'm gonna clean up the kitchen and then mosey up to bed early. Long day and I am tired!

Goodnight all.. thanks for your prayers for my sister. We've never been particularly close, but I know she's trying her best to work everything out and she seems to just get slammed harder. God bless you all, GWB, our troops & the coalition!

In addition now many GP are based at health centres which can have a few thousand patients registered and have 4 or 5 doctors, nurses and other support staff. In theory they are supposed to be better because they can do minor ops and blood tests etc etc but they become very impersonal and cumbersome.

There also seems to be a reluctance to do home visits plus weekend cover to done by a organisation which the doctors take turn with and their office is based at the local hospital. So after you ring the number and the doctor gets back to you (within 2 hours) often if it is something simple they will leave a prescription at the office for you to collect. It was much better when a doctor from your local surgery covered at the weekend and actually visited you.

Don't worry about it. I would like to see them, though.........via e-mail that is........not here.

I don't know if there was a live thread from Cleveland. Maybe Howlin knows??

I have to find a place to save your excellent posts.
I read them all and then forget to refer to them, and more importantly I forget to cut and paste them on threads where they'd be more effective.

I think you need to be here 24/7.

Will do DrDeb. Thanks for posting the article. More importantly, to me anyway, thanks always talking about these bogus polls and showing how to get the internals.

I have been able to track them down in many cases. Nothing shuts a "lib" up faster than when I say, "you would have low poll numbers too if your party was sampled at 272, while independents were at 337 and demonRATs at 409." LOL!

I posted the internals on one particularly egregious poll,

Good for you. That's what we need to do. And there are influential people who read this thread and so it is effective.

Well thank you all for your worthwhile comments. I must sign off and get back to work now.

snugs, the last home visit of a doctor that I can remember was when I was about 4 years old and had strep throat. After that, we had to go to the doctor's office.

I am 57. Home visits ended in the USA some time in the early 50's.

I keep rechecking their online schedule and that is what it shows. They show Tony Blair and some other program before the President finally comes on, in addition to whatever blather they have going now. I suppose they could violate their own schedule. I HAVE seen them do that a few times. But if so, you would find the truth at the bottom of the screen once in awhile where they show what is coming up next. The usually list about three upcoming programs at a time, and give the times they will air. Haven't watched them lately...have been strictly online.

Okay, I will have to find out when he's on again. LOL! If the President's face is not going to great me when I turn on the TV...I don't turn it on.
