The first thing I thought when I saw that Barney pic (other than that Barney is adorable!) was........it's gonna be a LONG time before my tulips look like that!

Ohio, Thanks for this great dose.

Do you know what the President was referring to about "the Gridiron Club" when Horrible Helen was asking (interrupting) her questions?

Thank you, Snugs. My daughter lives in another state, but her husband is taking two weeks off to take care of her and the kids.

Ever since our conversation I have noticed how often he does that.

HMO = Health Maintenance Organization

It's a plan and there are many variations on it where someone participates in a program of healthcare with quite a few mandates in it for who you have to see and where you have to go etc but in return you're supposed to save money and be guaranteed service on demand. These are not government entities but of course they are greatly affected by government activities.

I did read that all and it is great reading. Thanks for posting.

I've changed my tagline, even though the polls are a crock.

Thank you both for your prayers. If they're both all right, I'll announce it in all caps. LOL!

Oh sorry snugs... HMO means Health Maintenance Organization, a few steps below a regular family doctor. Some employer insurance plans dictate this and it's not fun. I'm sure you can relate even though I have no idea how healthcare in the UK is.

Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers. My sister is an avowed atheist but I figure she can still be prayed for, whether she likes it or not. God bless!

I think Laura Bush tulips would look GREAT here, don't you?

Actually, I'd like to ask Laura Bush to come in the front door. (I'd pull the weeds in the walk first. ;)

I saw Hardball- Chris tried very hard to make that news conference something that it wasn't.

It was a great press conference, tom. If you get a chance to see the whole thing, do

I just read the whole thing from your link. It was great. But he had a good chance to point out that the polls are bogus; that there is no way to get a representative sample of public opinion. I am sure he understands that and I wish he would call them on it when they cite polls.

It's a press dinner where everyone does a comedy-type routine.

Some others may be able to give you details.

He probably doesn't because it would give him more fodder to use against him.

I can't believe how gracious he is to these yahoos. Heaping coals of fire on their heads with his kindness, I think........
