Exactly. Moses didn't make it to the Promised Land. It may be that neither you and I nor President Bush will live to see how what he has done is appreciated.
When I was celebrating the 2004 victory of President Bush, I told my then 21-year old (who thinks I am entirely too partisan) that I wasn't so much happy for myself because a Republican had won, but for him because he was going to live far longer with the consequences of that election.
