Exactly. Moses didn't make it to the Promised Land. It may be that neither you and I nor President Bush will live to see how what he has done is appreciated.
When I was celebrating the 2004 victory of President Bush, I told my then 21-year old (who thinks I am entirely too partisan) that I wasn't so much happy for myself because a Republican had won, but for him because he was going to live far longer with the consequences of that election.

Thank you for President George W. Bush. Thank you for giving our country a strong leader fit for these troubling times. Please continue to grant unto your servant, George W. Bush, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to discern and courage to do your Holy Will. And, help us as citizens Lord. Help us to humble ourselves and obey Your Word that our land may be healed.
Please, oh Lord, keep your Face turned toward the United States of America and your people Israel.

We thank the prayer warriors who have been dedicated to petitioning the Lord daily on behalf of our country and the world. We pray that those who do not recognize our Savior, may in the ensuing weeks get to know and love Him..For what doth it matter to gain all the material wealth and lose your soul for Eternity....Our continued prayers, dear Jesus for President Bush, his wife and family. for those honestly serving in our Congress. Keep them safe from all physical and spiritual danger....May our troops not be discouraged by the inane remarks of those who know not what true freedom means.
