O'Donnell spoke on how his dad did Broadway stuff with the theatre (couldn't have guessed that, right?), and he has the taste of a ten year old in music and that he was on some show dancing to Hillary Duff's music. I don't care if he's married... but I don't need Steve and Edie or showtunes to know something's amiss with Mr. Gregory.
Can you say Brokeback?

On Meet Depressed General Casey made me picture Iraq as an elephant that blind people try to describe using only their sense of touch. Leftists always manage to place their hand up under the elephant's tail where things always seem stinky and rotten.

Fox now has Pat Schroeder on for commentary. I wonder if she will complain about all the testosterone during the Press Conference. Wow, she actually said something positive about "W" getting out there and explaining his positions. I think "W" backed the dems up with his talk about being honest with their debate and complaints. Pat is talking again, I'm going deaf and blind.

You had better be worried about all of the Islamic mosques being built across this country.

http://www.whitehouse.org is close to being a Democratic Underground website.

It's www.whitehouse.gov for the REAL one.

Do NOT go to the "org" one. There is a phony letter supposedly written by the President to his nephew, Pierce.

Warning. It is a complete fabrication.

The press conference is over. I'm reminding you to post your opinion on Allawi's recent comments as you mentioned up thread. I'm assuming you're considering his premature take on the possibility of civil war in Iraq.

I loved it today. Anyone, who really pays attention to his words, can understand what an honest realist this president is. His shots at the press were real - despite being diplomatic or even humorous. If the press had had similar venom against Clinton........

I can't imagine the burdens this man carries. My only wish is that he would do these things over and over and over. He needs to understand the power of the pulpit.

That was Bob Scheiffer, so he won't get fired. Said this was the George W. Bush that is frequently seen in private, but not on public television. And wasn't the president terrific! As I think he always is. But the press always finds people to whine and complain, no matter what the circumstance or occasion. No doubt about it: this is a great president. Engaged on every subject. Tremendous!

You really do belong on the short bus, as Pukin Dog said.

The very first sentence of every State of the Union speech under this President has been "The State of the Union is strong."

I think they're prepping Gregory for the Today (Yesterday) Show when Couric goes to CBS.

You mean so Matt will have another female co-host?

Gosh, I know it was replayed on cspan last night -- Here, scroll down a ways for a portion of it on The Political Teen for:

Bush Speech: Woman Asks If ‘Radical Christian Administration’ Views Terrorism As Apocalypse (VIDEO)

WOMAN: Thank you for coming to Cleveland, Mr. President, and the city club. My question is that author and former Nixon administration official Kevin Phillips, in his latest book, American Theocracy, discusses what he calls radical Christianity and its growing involvement into government and politics.

He makes the point that members of your administration have reached out to prophetic Christians who see the War in Iraq and the rise of terrorism as signs of the apocalypse. Do you believe this: that the War in Iraq and the rise of terrorism are signs of the apocalypse and if not, why not?

[laughter]

PRESIDENT BUSH: The answer is, I haven’t really thought of it that way.

[laughter]

UPDATE: Right Winged finds a discrepancy because the White House transcript (accurate one) and CNN’s.

You can't dispute my post because it is factual, so you revert to emotional outbursts and personal attacks. How RAT-like of you!

Now, help make this good forum even better by attempting to dispute the FACTS I stated. I will give you a second chance. Take a deep breath, relax, and post something that adds to the debate and sounds adult like.

He is now talking about mandatory spending. Bull. "mandatory spending" could be made nonmandatory if we had a real leader who wanted to get the budget in the right direction for the next generation of taxpayers.

How true. The government has the constitutional authority to regulate commerce, and they have no problem using a heavy hand with the private sector, but when it comes to their own spending they are helpless kittens.
