Keep your chin up!
It might not seem like it sometimes, but we got your back. Go ahead and watch tv for your news. Then come here and see what America really thinks.
We love you. Many of us have children you have/may treat.
You'll also find we're quite a cocky crowd. Because of you and your boys. Because you kick ass!
God bless you.
Spruce, you rock.
I'm a often disheartened at the American media coverage of the GWOT. I had a lower enlisted guy at my beckon call the other day. He had just returned from Iraq. I asked him, "What if anything does the American media have wrong about the War that might change public opinion?" His response was something like this: Iran is sending professional soldiers across the border. These guys know flanking movements, they know bound forward, bound back, they know how to call fire (mortars), they know tactics. If the public knew this, we would have a lot more support for our operations.
I can only say that's what someone else told me.
Yes, I may treat you're loved ones. I have treated a few so far. They made it. Sometimes I am discouraged by what I hear about medical conditions. I can only say that our medics are trained and are doing medical intervention that civilian doctors would drool over. I don't say it to be morbid, but to encourage you that our medics are the best da**ed medics in the world!
I love my job!
