How did the bridges to Haena from Hanalei hold up ?

Anini Beach is very nice for kids and families. It is good to hear that there were no problems.

Is the Polo field still being used ?

Some answers for you:

Some of the bridges were closed during the heaviest rains, but are OK. The Hanalei bridge was renovated several years ago, but is not rated for standard highway loading.

The polo field is still used - I think the season starts in May or June, with matches every Sunday. Anini is a very nice beach - preferred by many of the homeless or those living out of their cars.
