With one order from the president, the military could practically SEAL OFF the border within months. This is just more BS to try to keep the base from abandoning the Republicans.

That was my immediate reaction also. Obvious political gamesmanship. More talk is not going to help them this time, if the "base" does not see tangible results soon, they are gone. Hell, it's probably too late already.

I tried to send an email to Frist expressing my displeasure. The system wouldn't accept it (system timed-out). I read afterward where it indicates such correspondence should be between the writer and senator(s) of their respective states.

Being from Illinois that means Obama and Durbin. Yeah, that'll get me somewhere. Sheesh. A guy can't even communicate with the Senate leader.
