"Alas, in this Age of Terror, the choice not to fight can be disastrous; 9/11 proved that."

And this has been seen repeatedly through history. You can't appease tyrants, you have to defeat them and their ilk.

When I was young, China was a staunch ally of the Soviet Union and solidly communist.

Then the question of the day was "who lost China"

If we pull out of Iraq and the Middle East, the question of the day could very well be "who lost the middle east".

The consequences of losing China are very apparent today.

The consequences of losing the middle east are not appealing.

I'm surprise no one asks the question of "who lost Iran"
Most of us know, it was Jimmy Carter aided by the French.
