Just for arguments sake, this sounds like a type of global immunity to a germ.

How often will we need booster shots and who will be the bad guy to always administer them?

You must consider how the "patient" will react to this "treatment". Can it survive such an aggressive treatment?

Who will pay the cost of the treatment plan?

Keep in mind that a good physician will always take the least invasive type of approach. :)

Islamists will always act up. Even if a majority of Muslims accept their status as no longer the dominant civilization, there will be those who seek Jihad as the cure. Taking out the occasional trouble makers is the booster.

As for the treatment plan, I suggest a tariff on foreign oil. Besides, we have no real alternative. We cant click our heals together and undo the last 1389 years of history.
