Not surprised by it. What do you expect out of NOPD, which is the most corrupt.

Assistant Police Chief Marlon Defillo, commander of the Public Integrity Bureau, said the officers seen on the video were recently cleared of looting because they had received permission from superiors to take necessities for themselves and other officers.1.) Was that verbal permission or is it in writing??If in writing ,Can we see it.
2.) Who issued that permission???
3.) They need to come before the cameras and explain themselves.

Anyone wonder where Walmart is in all of this? I think people need to get together and send Walmart a few letters asking why they haven't pressed any charges concerning these officers' illegal requisitions.

It certainly would be interesting to know what Walmart's recorded losses were and how much (notice I did not say, 'if') they received FEMA funds for 'storm damages'.

they had received permission from superiors to take necessities for themselves and other officers.Wouldn't this fall under the RICO statutes?

"were recently cleared of looting because they had received permission from superiors to take necessities for themselves and other officers."And this "permission" was given when?
To: jackliberty
It should fall under RICO.
No supervisor has the authority to grant permission to steal.
They all should go to jail.
