If it's worth whining about, it's worth doing something about. Quit whining! Geez...

affected area to deal with false alerts caused by Minutemen tripping the various sensor nets deployed on the border.

You know as well as anyone here that the sensors were set off by the ACLU goons getting between the minutemen and the border. Any more disinformation in you today??

Fine. Where do I send the bill for my valuable time that you want me to spend doing something other than what I wish to do?

All about money for you, eh? So willing to sell out.

If your time is "so valuable" why are you spending so much of it on this post?

Posting is no prob, I am at the computer anyway generating maps of the expanded watch areas. The posts give me a break from some pretty dry work.

Keep up the great work!!! Don't let the negative voices here drag you down...

Lots of opinions here and no the negative stuff doesn't bother me a bit. The sincere gratitude from the land owners in the watch areas is payment enough for our time there. The bonus is the fact that the honchos in DC have to respond to the thousands of folks that are now calling and faxing their voting intentions based on the situation with the illegal aliens. That was not happening a year ago...

Actually that question wasn't meant for you, TLI. I just thought you'd like to see if I got a response. And keep up the good work. If I weren't stuck in Hawaii I'd be home in Texas doing my part in person.

If I weren't stuck in Hawaii

Lets see... Hawaii vs. far west Texas border area... humm. I just can't make that work for being stuck! Besides, I have heard that there are some similar issues there. True?

I highly doubt the minutemen being on the border affected you in anyway.

$10K in property damage during the first deployment. It affected me.

All about money for you, eh?

I want you to come out here and circulate a political petition that I personally find very important, just for little ol' me. I want you to do it for free.

I eagerly await your generosity.

It would be interesting in the Minutemen joined up with this group. It surely would take the air out of the liberals calling them recists.

By the way, you failed to mention you valuable contrubution to the Texas Minutemen Border Watch Operations. What was it?

No, I'm going to bill you for the time I end up having to spend as an impressed "volunteer" for your next political stunt. My "valuable contribution" will be in backstopping your upcoming political stunt. It will be a bill for FUTURE time spent. The Minutemen have gotten freebies from me to date--no more.

Actually no, they don't. You see, they trust us. It is a concept at appears to be difficult for you.

Yeah, it's difficult for me to believe that, since the BP/ICE doesn't trust ANYBODY that they haven't done a full background check on (for reasons that would be blindingly obvious if you thought about them for a second.)

The short version of my statment is ALL AREAS ARE UNDERSTAFFED.

And your solution is to force BP/ICE to make it worse in some areas so you can have your little political stunt.

PaleHorse...why not volunteer to cover the stripped sectors??

If Tonto was as disagreeable you wouldn't have gotten anything done. Hiyo Silver...away!

We will evaluate your contribution sometime in the future. Be sure to get receipts.

since the BP/ICE doesn't trust ANYBODY that they haven't done a full background check on

They trusted us enough to share intel in a coordinated joint op that resulted in a 40 pound heroin bust in less than six hours. Not blind trust mind you, but I believe it goes beyond a "tripped sensor." Besides, one explanation of our agreement with BP to handle off-spec activity is enough. Re-read post 28 please.

And your solution is to force BP/ICE to make it worse in some areas so you can have your little political stunt.

Actually, and to use your terminology, it is a very large "political stunt" which has proven to be extremely effective. It is working right up to the level of affecting the campaign platforms of a Presidential election over two years in the future. It beats the heck out of a photo in a canoe or riding in a tank. Furthermore, we do not control BP. If BP management is attempting to hide their shortcomings or has ordered the saturation of a Border Watch area in an attempt to "explain" why the crossings stopped only proves the point that putting a adequate number of bodies in a troublesome area causes the illegal crossings to stop. The attempts by BP management to claim the Border Watch operations have no effect on the number of illegal crossings in a specific area are weak and ineffective.

There are a LOT of foreigners here. I'm pretty sure quite a few are here illegally but don't know the stats. I'm in the army and Ft. Bliss is one of my possible future assignments coming up in July. I should find out soon. Hawaii is beautiful but after 2 1/2 years it is getting old. It hasn't stopped raining for a couple weeks. But home is where the heart is and mine is down in Texas!

"The bonus is the fact that the honchos in DC have to respond to the thousands of folks that are now calling and faxing their voting intentions based on the situation with the illegal aliens"

Agreed... If it weren't for the Minutemen out there on the frontline this administration would just blow off all the other voices calling for secure borders. I don't know what some of the pointy-headed conservatives that post here are thinking. Well for starters that word "conservative" has sure been stretched lately. Now you can be thought of as a conservative and spend money willy-nilly on every half-witted idea born to man.

OH! Well, ya didn't say you were a Texan! No wonder things are getting a bit stale there. Take a lot of pics and git on the plane as soon as you can! :=)

It's official--you're full of it. I was a cop for a while, and we NEVER shared (and never will share) intelligence with civilians. It just is not done.

Thank you for laying bare the core of the Minuteman Project--it's just a bunch of wannabes.
