The prisoner was tricked into believing he was leaving the jail, coerced into inserting a sausage in his body, then strip-searched by officers "in" on the "joke".
This makes no sense. "Hey buddy, you're going home, but we need you to put this sausage in your butt first...."

If the prisoner was able to figure that out he'd probably have been able to figure out how not to do something to go to jail in the first place.
This is just nuts.
