France is dead meat on the hook - the Republic's days are numbered and coming to an end.
Too bad - they used to be a technology leader 100 years ago.

CNN just cut to breaking coverage of the fire.
They say the police are moving in - just what CNN needs to compete with March Madness on Saturday afternoon.

They are ritoing against a measure that would allow businesses to fire or layoff employees within the firat two years of employment.
No wonder France has double digit unemployment, with their embracing of socialist economics.

I will say one thing in defense of the kids rioting - The French government by it's response to Muslim riots taught those kids that this is what you can do to get what you want.

The "job measure" would allow employers the ability to fire new employees any time, for any reason, in the first two years of employment.
These youths don't want to live in the real world. They are rioting for lifetime employement.

Police blamed the violence on fringe groups of radicals and anarchists -- and petty criminals who broke into a jewelry store. The students' anger focuses the job contract that would allow employers to fire young workers in their first two years on a job -- without saying why. But the protests may reflect broader discontent with the conservative government and the direction France is taking as globalization forces changes.
Mr. Villepin's government believes the "new jobs contract" will whittle down a 23% jobless rate among youths -- which rises to 50% in depressed suburbs.
