Granted, he stood up to Arafat. That point still doesn't answer the question as to whether he would seek permission from the U.N. to act against Iran.
My hunch is his boot-licking was sincere.

If you have a concern of how an American President is likely to act with the UN there is no one who remotely has a chance of being elected who is more likely to tell the UN to go screw itself.
Now you see for others that may disqualify him for reasons of not playing nice and being a dangerous hot head in international affairs.

This was prolly the best speech ever in front of the UN.
Any Mayor of New york will say good thing's about the UN that bootlicker.
But using that word and givin all the anti-Rudy animus on this thread.
Shows how much the cultural far-right fears him.
If they had a candidate who could play varsity maybe they'd have better things to do then bash Rudy. As it stands now the far right seems to like Allen.
If the far right thinks Allen can take on Rudy....when he can't even out debate Barbara Boxer.... it's gonna be a looong 2 years for the 2-issue voters. \
