The "rights" these illegals claim is a right to part of your paycheck.

They should not be fired. They should be immediately deported if they cannot prove citizenship.

Remember that invaders, whether armed or unarmed, are after the same goals. To occupy territory, seize resources and change the culture and laws of the country invaded.

The rest of the world, Mexico for example, does not allow immigration without strict conditions. They patrol their own southern border with military to keep Central Americans from crossing Mexico on their way to the U.S.

It's long past time for Americans to fight back and begin to repel invaders who are trying to capture America. We are the target because we are the "have" nation.

The ignorant masses who are invading us believe that everything America has, our high standard of living and modern technology just fell out of the sky. Americans were just lucky enough to be at the right place at the right.

If we don't defend ourselves and the barbarians take over the U.S. will quickly become one large barrio.

"It sends a chilling message," Oliva said. "It's one of the scariest things someone can say to you: `Agree with me, or I can take away your livelihood.'"

This guy needs to move to France ASAP.

Look who wrote the article. Noreen S. Ahmed-Ullah. Is she an illegal alien? Or hitched to an Arab?

The stated goal of this organizatin per its' own website:

"to support efforts and campaigns to improve wages, benefits, and working conditionsfor low-wage workers"

I sent him an e-mail asking how he rationalizes his recent actions, given that they are directly contradictory to his organization's goal.

They should not be fired. They should be immediately deported if they cannot prove citizenship.

The legal ones (if any) SHOULD be fired...For creating a work stoppage...No doubt that many people walking off the job created havoc for the employer...

But then, the employer deserves havoc for hiring illegals...

...many more immigrants around the city have also faced disciplinary action for attending the rally.

they are not 'immigrants', they are illegal aliens. And they were fired not for attending the rally, but for not being at work when they were supposed to. How many of us would still have a job if we did that?

...10 workers were fired from a company that makes automobile parts in Schiller Park.

"But they are just doing jobs Americans won't do." Anyone who says this anymore is either a total ignoramus on the issue, or an absolute LIAR--this would include our beloved open borders sovereignty selling presidente Vicente W Bush!

It said the dismissals stemmed from a misunderstanding between supervisors and employees,...
many of whom are illegal immigrants.

Gee, could it possibly be because they don't speak English???

Somebody please remind me again why Dubya is so convinced that these workers will help America become "more competitive"

Welcome to the United States of Mexico

On the Albuquerque news last night they did an interview with a supervisor for the Border Patrol in NM, and he said they have seen a sharp increase of criminals who are entering illegally. Now, we are experiencing an increase in rapes, kidnapping, robbery and murder from those same criminals.

If you haven't read http://www.naalc.org then take some time and read it.

What a mess.

The Commission for Labor Cooperation is an international organization created under the North American Agreement on Labor Cooperation (NAALC). The Commission is formed of a Council of Ministers, a cabinet-level body in charge of policy-setting and decision-making consisting of the three labor ministers or their representatives; and a trinational Secretariat that provides support to the Council and to the independent Evaluation Committees of Experts and Arbitral Panels the Council may establish under the provisions of the Agreement.

The Commission works in close cooperation with the National Administrative Offices (NAOs), created by each government within their own labor ministry to implement the NAALC.

You have manufacturing workers protesting to lower their own wages.

First goes the thought process, then the nation is lost.

And the Senate is plotting in small rooms, behind closed doors, without C-Span, in as much privacy as possible to further destroy our country by granting 10 - 20 of them amnesty.

What a mess.

LOL. It is a mess. If I am not mistaken, this is probably NAFTA PLUS. I don't recall Clinton or George H. Bush explaining the labor rights and health care benefits for Mexicans in NAFTA in 1991 or 1992 while they were misleading the American people on free trade.

everything America has, our high standard of living and modern technology just fell out of the sky. Americans were just lucky enough to be at the right place at the right.

That's because you have @$$holes like Dick Gephardt making stupid statements like his famous "life's lottery" quote. Where I come from, Gephardt's dad having a job as a milkman qualifies him as gentry, no kidding. I was jealous as a kid of guys whose dads had jobs like that.

Even my Democrat brother-in-law gets offended when I ask him the rhetorical question about "Who gave you all of this?" pointing to his big fancy house.
