Haven't the Brits always had sympathies for the Moslems? Lawrence of Arabia and all that. Even beyond that date. It seems they even tried to whitewash the atrocities committed against India by the Islamic hordes. Including the way they tried to screw the nation of Israel around in its founding. Maybe they went wrong when they tossed the greatest British Zionist, Churchill?
