It sounds like it's legal in that state, but in Arizona it would be a Class 6 felony. It sounds like it would be more of a noise problem than danger from "whizzing" bullets if the guy's description of the backdrop is accurate.

Are you in AZ? That statute said it would only be a class 6 felony if the discharge was with 'criminal negligence.' Mind you, I have no idea what AZ considers 'criminal negligence' to be... Do you?
