Unfortunately, Mikulski won re-election in 2004. The other Senate seat is open this year because Sarbanes is retiring. The BEST Maryland leader to serve starting in 2007 is Michael Steele.

The other Senate seat is open this year because Sarbanes is retiring. Probably one of the most boring Senators is Sarbanes. And while reform was needed, Sarbanes-Oxley is one of the most hated laws in business.
