Did you know?

Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland wasn't actually Irish, he was born around 373 A.D. in either Scotland, near the town of Dumbarton, or in Roman Britain.

Happy St. Pat's Day Everyone!

Morning, Dolly. As most everyone must know by now, I'm not the *historian* of our group - the *visuals* are my thing ! :)

Dutchess has done the previous St. Patrick's Day threads for the Finest, and she is great at bringing us the history and meaning of the special days we celebrate! Those links are at the bottom of the opening - that's my easy way of posting the history of St. Patrick's Day. :)
